Prepare a chart image the AI can actually inspect
A useful screenshot gives the model enough context to identify what it is looking at. Include the NSE symbol, chart interval, price axis, visible candle bodies and wicks, and any indicator names or values that matter to your question. Keep the image sharp and avoid cropping the most recent candles or the scale. If you want a pattern reviewed, show the surrounding candles instead of only the two or three bars that appear to prove it. Mention whether the image is intraday or daily and what you want explained: structure, levels, a pattern definition, or a list of questions for further research. An image can show a possible observation, but it cannot show the data outside its frame, the order book, fundamentals, later candles, or the reason a market participant acted.
Separate visible structure from prediction
Chart analysis is most useful when it names evidence precisely. “The displayed candles have made higher swing lows” is an observation tied to the image. “Price will go up next” is a forecast that the image cannot prove. Ask the assistant to describe the timeframe, trend structure, prominent levels, candle formations, indicator context, and competing interpretations. If the image is blurred, labels conflict, or a level is approximate, the result should say so. Check whether the last candle is complete and compare the screenshot’s time with a current chart before using any observation. A visual label can change as new candles form, and the same pattern can behave differently in different market regimes.
Example: reviewing a possible support test
If a screenshot appears to show price testing a prior low, ask which candles and levels support that description, how far apart the tests are, and what information is missing. Then verify the level on the underlying chart, review volume and news, and check whether the timeframe is relevant to your research question. Do not treat a support label as a guaranteed floor or a pattern name as an entry instruction. The tool describes an image for research; it does not know your risk tolerance, execution conditions, or the next market event.
